This page explains how Earphone Check handles audio playback and technical connection information.
1. Operator and scope
This policy applies to Earphone Check, operated by Heatwave. Visitors can use the public site without signing in. We do not provide registration, name or email input, phone-number collection or payments. Earphone Check does not access your microphone, record you or upload audio.
2. Local audio processing
Sound generation, channel selection, volume changes and playback position are handled in your browser. This version does not save listening notes or sound preferences to local storage and does not upload your audio choices as analytics.
3. Earlier listening notes
An earlier version could save Checked or Check again notes in local storage under earcheck-record-v1. The current player does not read or use those notes. If you used the earlier version, you can delete its remaining data through your browser’s site-data settings.
4. Hosting and technical connection information
A hosting service delivers this website, including music files fetched only when you press Play. Music is served from this site rather than a third-party streaming player. In that process, the hosting provider may handle technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and request times under its own operational and security policies. Earphone Check itself does not require visitors to create an account.
5. Advertising and external services
This version does not integrate Google AdSense, visitor analytics, externally hosted fonts or tracking-cookie scripts. If advertising or analytics services are added, we will review the data involved and update this policy and any applicable consent notices. External links are governed by the destination website’s privacy policy.
6. Questions and policy changes
Our external operator contact channel is the Heatwave blog (Korean). If the way this service processes data changes, this page will be updated.
